Carol Aileen Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carol Aileen Miller 71, of Riley Township died, unexpectedly Monday August 27, 2012, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born in Detroit January 12, 1941, the daughter of the late Louis and Aileen (Paridee) Graeff. Her marriage to Ed Miller was December 13, 1975 at Lakeshore Presbyterian Church, St. Clair Shores. They had lived in Roseville before moving to Riley Township in 1983. Carol had been employed by Ford Motor Company where she met Ed. She owned and operated “Carol’s Special Moments” craft and silk flower shop in Richmond since 1993. Carol enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas, NV for bridal shows and loved animals. Surviving in addition to her husband Ed of 36 years are children, Richard, Scott and Nicole, step children, Sandra, Kenneth, David and Ronald; several grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by her son David. Her family honors the memory of Carol and invite you to visit and share memories Thursday, September 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with memorial services at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Lisa Clark, pastor of Capac and Ruby United Methodist Churches, will officiate. Memorials are suggested to Blue Water Area Humane Society.
