Paul & Becky Wrobel

Paul & Rebecca Wrobel, of Brockway Township, died in an automobile accident Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Sanilac County. Paul was 40, Rebecca was 38 years of age. He was born in Warren, January 14, 1967, the son of Carl and Francine Kurek Wrobel. She was born in Mt. Clemens, November 16, 1968, the daughter of Edward and Marie Ventimiglia Pieters. Their marriage was July 27, 1990 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Emmett. Paul was a Stevenson High School graduate and worked for the Galeana Automotive Group for 20 years. He currently worked at the companies Saturn of Lakeside branch as an automotive technician. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Yale chapter and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yale. He was an avid Detroit Redwings fan and loved his NASCAR. Paul enjoyed using his computer and working on cars at home. He was always available to help others with there cars when they asked. Paul was a loving husband and father. “Becky” was a Memphis High School graduate and worked at Vinckier Food Store in Yale for 1 1/2 years. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yale. Along with her husband, she was an avid Detroit Redwings and NASCAR fan. Becky loved her job and the people she worked with. She was a “Bingo Queen” and enjoyed shopping with her girls. Becky was a Wi gaming system pro. She loved to read and use her computer. She was a wonderful wife and mother who lived everyday for her two girls. Paul is survived by parents Carl and Francine Wrobel; his two daughters Victoria Lynn and Marissa May Wrobel; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Patricia Gore, Deborah (John) Nelson, Carol (Gerald) Mansell, Sharon (Dennis) Sheppard, Geralyn (James) Paige, and Mary (Douglas) Briley; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Deborah) Wrobel; as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Becky is survived by parents Edward and Marie Pieters; two daughters Victoria Lynn and Marissa May Wrobel; a brother and sister-in-law Jason and Tracy Gibson; a niece Abbrey Ann Gibson; and many friends. Becky is preceded in death by an infant brother, Edward Pieters, Jr. Their families honor the memory of Paul and Rebecca and invite you to visit and share Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Rite of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett, with 10:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. Paul Czarnota, pastor, will officiate. Scripture services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Yale.
