Mildred Irene Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mildred Irene Miller 93, of Jeddo, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Port Huron Hospital. She was born June 18, 1918 in Avoca to the late Ralph and Nora (Wilcox) Young. Mildred married Hollice Miller at her parent’s home on November 25, 1939 in Avoca. She was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed making quilts for all of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and loved visits from her grandchildren. She was a member of the Yale United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Hollice of 72 years; three daughters, Beverly Hollis of Marysville, Jean (Dale) Lohr of Jeddo and Roberta (Larry) Badley of Kimball; seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Frye; sister-in-law, Bernice Young and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by granddaughters Linda Lohr and Lisa Badley, great-great-granddaughter, Jessica Reyna; brother Robert Young and brother-in-law, Frances Frye. Her family honors the memory of Mildred and invites you to attend memorial service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Yale United Methodist Church, with 11:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. Dr. Bernardine Daniels, pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Springhill Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements are by Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale.
