Lillie Simmons Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lillie Simmons 83, of Richmond, died Tuesday June 4, 2013 at MediLodge of Richmond. She was born June 29, 1929 in Gotebo, OK the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Fink) Herman. She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Richmond and enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Sue of Richmond, Don and Irene of Lenox and Ron and Alissa of Vista, CA; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Walters, Christine Trombley, Edna Hardy and brother Dick Herman. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Donna Simmons (1981); siblings, Freda Liebetru, Esther Clark, Louise Verbeke, Emily Barks, Emma Topchow, Helen Geiss and Albert and Bob Herman. The family honors the memory of Lillie and invite you to visit and share memories Thursday 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Richmond, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. John Langewisch, interim pastor, will officiate.
