Laura Mae Hill Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Laura Mae Hill 94, formerly of Meeker, CO and Capac, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Seven Oaks, TX. She was born June 4, 1917 in Gilman, CO the daughter of the late Harry and Olga Marie (Henson) Atkenson. Her marriage to Joshua Hill was August 14, 1934 in Capac, Joshua died in January 1980. Surviving are six children and their spouses, Stella and Lavern Muxlow of TX, Marian and John Cook of TX, James and Evelyn Hill of Capac, Valarie and Robert McGuire of Mikado, MI, Dennis and Linda Hill of Capac, Douglas and Valarie Hill of CO; daughter-in-law, Alena Hill of Port Huron; 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren 44 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Charles Hill. Her family honors the memory of Laura and invites you to visit and share memories Friday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Mr. Marvin McGuire, pastor of Community of Christ Church, Mikado, will officiate.
