JoAnn H. Bricker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

JoAnn H. Bricker 81, of Yale, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 in Port Huron Hospital, Port Huron. She was born on August 5, 1931 in Port Huron to Rose (Willey) and Ted Rutkofske. She graduated from Port Huron High School in 1949. She married Robert Bricker October 6, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Port Huron. Together with her husband they owned and operated Bricker Electric for over 30 years. Surviving in addition to her husband “Bob” of 61 years are children, Pattijo (Jeff) Wilson of Port Huron, Sandee (John) Shephard of Standish and Mike (Tina) Bricker of Yale; seven grandchildren Stacie (Brian) Hadeed, Nicole (Justin) Carroll, Rob (Megan) Wilson and Serena, Robert, Jason and Sarah Bricker; four great-grandchildren, Ava and Benjamin Hadeed, Levi Wilson and Norah Carroll. She is also survived by her brother, Richard (Anna) Rutkofske of Port Huron and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lloyd, Ralph, and Robert Rutkofske and sisters Ella Graffam and Patricia Hutchings. Cremation arrangements by Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, have taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, February 4, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Yale. Fr. Tom Kuehnemund, pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Church or Yale Music Boosters.
