Irene Isabel Delia Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Irene Isabel Delia 91, a 20-year resident of Capac, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Port Huron Hospital. She was born in Detroit, January 23, 1921, the daughter of the late George and Kathleen (Long) Gough. Her marriage to Lawrence Delia was June 2, 1941 in Detroit. Lawrence died January 25, 1992. Irene moved to Capac in 1992 where she attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church until she was no longer able due to her illness. She enjoyed spending time with the seniors at her residence and loved sharing time with her son and family each weekend. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Karen Delia of Yale; two grandchildren, Jesse (Tina) and Matthew (Amy) Delia, both of Yale, two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jenna Delia; brother, Frederick Gough of Madison Heights; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by siblings Her family honors the memory of Irene and invite you to visit and share memories Tuesday 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.
