Hazel Louise Hufford Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hazel Louise Hufford Age 56, of Brockway Township, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at home following a courageous battle against cancer. She was born June 28, 1950 in Mt. Clemens the daughter of Nick and Florence Schmidtke Wilson. Her marriage to Richard Hufford was July 24, 1967 in Mt. Clemens. Hazel was a member of the Church of God. Surviving in addition to her husband Richard of 39 years are two sons and daughters-in-law Lonnie and Jamey Hufford of Fairhaven, and Richard and Christy Hufford of Yale, daughter, Laura Hufford of Yale; 10 grandchildren; nephew, Louis Abila III; brother-in-laws Timmy Brian (Dawn), Jeffrey (Dee) Hufford and sisters-in-law Susan Brusseau, Maureen (Larry) Radcliff and Elaine (Pat) Salada and several friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Abila and her mother Florence. Her family honors the memory of Hazel and invite you to visit and share Saturday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, and attend graveside services Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Yale.
