Dorothy Ruth Mills Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dorothy Ruth Mills 88, of Yale and formerly of Capac, died Wednesday May 8, 2013 at MediLodge of Yale. She was born July 11, 1924 in Buffalo, N.Y. the daughter of the late George and Telsie (Fightenberg) Gregory. Her marriage to Bobbie Mills was December 11, 1943 at her mother’s home in Allenton. Bobbie passed away April 22, 2005. Dorothy was a former member of Capac United Methodist Church for 35 years and has been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Yale since moving from Capac in 1986. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Don Frankforther of Georgia and Janice M. and Mike McIntyre of Yale and two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard W. and Deborah Mills of Texas and Gregory and Bessie Mills of Virginia; foreign exchange daughter and children, Grace (Wilnor) Swann of Northern Ireland; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister, Lois Gregory of San Clemente, CA; sisters-in-law, Mildred Gregory and Evelyn Mills and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard, Richard, Roy, Kenneth, Jack, George, Leslie and sister Mildred. Her family honors the memory of Dorothy and invite you to visit and share Friday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, and attend funeral services 12:00 p.m. Saturday with 11:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. James Offrink, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Yale, will officiate. Burial will be in West Berlin Cemetery, Berlin Township. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church of Yale.
